Tom McGuire, vocals

Tom was born in 1950 in New York and lives in Brussels. For more than a decade, he has been pursuing voice studies, mostly in Belgium, but also at The Juilliard School in New York, resulting in full-time singing. Years ago, Tom sang in the chorus of the Brussels Operette Theater. In 2017, Tom began singing jazz in clubs in Brussels and New York. In 2018, Tom appeared on VTM television in Belgium in The Voice Senior.



Mathieu De Wit, Piano

Mathieu started, at age 6, with classical piano. When he turned 18, he decided to learn jazz music at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp. He continued his musical education at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and then at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. Mathieu has earned his reputation as a top pianist, composer and arranger on the Belgian jazz scene. His band credits include Oscar Peterson Tribute, Symmetrio, and The New Yorkers, among many others.



Julien Guilloux, trombone

Julien began with music at age 6 and soon discovered the trombone at Bourges Conservatory in France. Alongside classical studies, at age 14, Julien embraced jazz and later eclectic styles such as pop, funk and reggae. In 2013, Julien graduated the French Conservatory of Besançon with degrees in classical trombone and chamber music. He then decided to devote himself to jazz and further studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Julien has also played in musicals such Cabaret, La Mélodie du Bonheur, Evita, and Sunset Boulevard.



Aristide D’Agostino, trumpet

Aristide’s maternal grandfather played trumpet and enrolled him at an early age in the music school in their French village. At age 18, Aristide entered the Conservatory of Le Mans to study modern jazz, composition and arrangement. After completing those studies, Aristide attended the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, furthering his skills as leader and composer for his musical projects and successful bands such as Go To The Dogs! Extended.




Julien Fraipont, bass

Julien was born in 1982 in Liège. At age 23, he stopped studying architecture to go for music. In 2010, Julien completed his studies at the Jazz Studio of Antwerp. In 2015, he established his first musical project, the Julien Fraipont Quintet, for which he is also the composer. Julien’s artistic choice is for tradition. He believes it not only boosts creativity but it also results in energetic, fresh and intense compositions.



Lucas Vanderputten, Drums

Lucas was born in 1989 in Brussels. He started playing drums at an early age, leading to two years of studies at the Jazz Bxl music school. Lucas then attended the Royal Conservatory of Brussels to continue his musical education. Lucas performs regularly around Europe, including participation in festivals. He has also been recognized with several top jazz awards such as the Trophees du Sunside (2016), Tonnerre de Jazz (2019) and Cosmo Jazz Sacem (2019).
